Hi.

Can any one help me with the cause of why the window won't open?
Can't say that I can find any blown fuses.

Activated the Release button in the Driver's door panel?
Then the latch on the window handle?

Do I have to activat door opener before the window just to open the window? Sounds strange...
Are you sure? I've had other cars with that function on opening the window, and they opened when you used the handle under the windscreenwiper.....

I think it depends on how you have it set up in the Comfort section of your MFI. I have mine set to all unlock when I come to a stop and open the doors. It stays this way until I lock it. So my window is unlocked. You may discover also when you can't open the window you should not be able to open the hatch either. Check your settings and see what you have going on. If that is not is, just either hit the button on the remote or the button on the drivers door and it will open then. I am thinking a comfort setting though.

I haven't yet started with my computer on the Touareg just bought it, but are definetly getting it to it. Also read about the air lowering, as I will try out

Nothing new here..... Still won't open that window on the hatch...
No fuses blown in the laft panel by the driversdoor. Any sugestions?

It is a common thing for a 2004. Mine quit working as well the window latch as also the trunk latch.
I had both replaced a long time ago (back then under warranty)
So up to the dealer you go for new parts (or you order them yourself and get creative)
