I checked the Huf site suggested here, but there is no listing for 2008 to 2010 models. Weird. Rock Auto lists 315 and 433 MHz for that year. Checking an online VW dealer with the VIN, it gives the part number 7PP907275F. Searching that on Ebay results in a few sensors for about $32 a set, like this listing: 4Pcs TPMS Tire Pressure Sensor For Touareg Phaeton Audi A4 A6 A8 Q7 433MHz | eBay Anyone try these low cost sensors?

Well, the second set of sensors are junk. Only reading intermittently with the TPMS light back on. Return approved. Bit the bullet and ordered a set of these Schrader sensors from Rock Auto for $95 OTD.
Weird.... a $25 set is junk? Can't be!
I was hoping that with the low price you paid that you might get lucky with them. We're they even the same as that seller listed in their pictures?
TBH it does come down to price. I think I paid ~$165 for a set of four like 5 years ago and they (both sets) worked out great.
With the ones you bought from Rock Auto, they look like the type that they program for your Treg. Hopefully they get it right and hopefully the installer doesn't try to program them after they are mounted.
