VCDS scan = 0296 - Control Module for Auxiliary Heater - Heater not working

"No signal" means that control module does not respond. Control module does not have power or is dead. I assume that nothing has been done with car, so wiring should be ok.
First of all check fuse box on the left side: fuse F2 (first row, second from right) with 30A current.
