On my 2010, I have noticed that during a 10k interval, I am having to add nearly 2.5 gallons to the adblue tank to fill it up. I am not getting any lights and think the tank holds around 3 gallons.

A dealer tech told me that they add 1-2 of those little bottles per interval- which either explains why folks are running out between service intervals or I am using alot more than the norm...

How much adblue are others having to add?

How certain are you that it used all that, top off before and after? What kind of terrain were you pulling over? What year model do you have? How many miles?

You were towing and asking for additional power. The same reason why your MPGs dropped.

Towing or climbing mountains , or aggressive acceleration forces the the engine and use more fuel meaning more ad blue. 2.5 gals per 10k check up is normal.

Sure would be nice if we had a way to see how much was left without having to look in the tank.
