Hello,
This winter, I purchased aftermarket TPMS sensors from WheelWiz for my 2015 Treg with a new set of winter tires and rims, having taken off an original set of all-season rims with OEM TPMS sensors which were working fine when dismounted from the car. Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts to get the aftermarket sensors to work, including multiple trips to tire shops, VW dealer, reprogramming frequencies etc., the sensors never worked. VW did confirm to me at the time (this is now ~2 months ago) that the TPMS module itself was working and intact. I chalked it down to being an issue with aftermarket sensors and decided I would go with OEM for next season. During this winter season, the TPMS light remained on the dashboard. It blinks for about a minute or two after starting, then remains solid.
With spring coming around, I recently put on my OEM tires with original VW sensors expecting them to pick up automatically and for the issue to be fixed. Unfortunately, even after driving nearly 80km, the light remains on. I ran a scan as below. Please note, when I try to access module 65 it simply says "tire pressure controller no response."
Is there a way to activate this controller through VCDS? Is it possible this controller has incidentally died in the interim since VW took a look at it 2 months ago and now?

With spring coming around, I recently put on my OEM tires with original VW sensors expecting them to pick up automatically and for the issue to be fixed. Unfortunately, even after driving nearly 80km, the light remains on. I ran a scan as below. Please note, when I try to access module 65 it simply says "tire pressure controller no response."
Is there a way to activate this controller through VCDS? Is it possible this controller has incidentally died in the interim since VW took a look at it 2 months ago and now?
