2015 Executive TDI — CEL code came on today as I was going to pick up our camper to ready it for a camping trip with our daughter's family this weekend. Code is for the Ad Blue tank temperature sensor. Still under warranty. Three different dealer service reps cannot agree on whether it is prudent to still go camping. Full tank of Ad Blue, it was topped off last week. Our local (Madison, WI) dealers all at least two weeks out to schedule service. So my choices are, ignore the warning and go pull the trailer anyway (500 mile round trip), or pack up the old tent in the other car and try to remember how to camp that way after seven years of camping in hard sided trailers!
The car drives fine but I understand there could be an issue with a sudden Ad Blue countdown that more Ad Blue won't solve? What do you experienced Touareg owners or mechanics say?
