The coupe is sweet. It looks a lot more like the Cayenne.

 

Yes, they found the part of the Cayenne I like best and put it on the Touareg.

Haven't seen any news on the coupe but have on the Beduin and the Piech-up truck. I know is not Treg question but is this Golf SUV the same as the new Audi crossover SUV?

It appears the German automakers are evolving the definition of "coupe," but it wouldn't be the first time. Originally, a coupe was a 2-door enclosed horse-drawn carriage, with the driver sitting outside. In the automotive world, it started out as a single-seat (bench), 2-3 passenger 2-door car. Over time, a jump-seat or opera seat was accepted into this definition. We've all become accustomed to the idea that 2 doors and a hard roof makes a coupe, with a small rear seat and down-sloping rear styling as other traditional elements.

Now, VW's new concept will proclaim that the number of doors doesn't really matter anymore, following after the examples of the Mercedes CLS and the upcoming Porsche Panamera.

 

Whatever it is....the "Coupe" sure does look cool !!
