You said your "differential went out" but then that you bought a "new driveshaft" and then show a video of just the CV joint. These are three different parts, and if one failed the others aren't likely to be involved. What exactly does the "half shaft jumped" mean?

I read your post a few times and watched the video, but am unable to understand what you are asking. Can you please clarify?

It looks like your axle shaft comes out of the inner CV? It can happen, the snap rings can become loose. Your video isn’t very clear so perhaps some more details?

every time i put the gearbox in the letter D it goes like this and it sounds like a thud and a screeching noise And when you drive it sounds much worse So the impacts are much stronger when you drive

I was with my family in the vehicle when it happened, so we started to return home because we were on vacation. We drove 3,650 km, we took a break for two. only turning on on the highway yes I gave the turn signal to turn on on the highway to go home And then it was heard when I stopped suddenly because there was a large line of vehicles I heard a blow in the direction of the wheel I didn't know what exactly was happening and then when I started to drive as if something strange was happening like that.

I bought a new drive shaft with a CV joint, which I will install on Saturday, because then I go to the car, the car is almost 1,000 km away from me😅

this video is just a question for you do you think i was wrong to buy a new CV joint driveshaft because you can hear this CV joint and this shaft itself when putting the automatic transmission into drive d

unfortunately it was not possible to continue the journey of 870 km. How far is it to my house? I have already rented a rental car vehicle and returned home and I bought a new drive shaft which is at my place tomorrow (Friday) and I am going to Croatia to install it myself because not ONE THE GARAGE DOESN'T WANT TO REPAIR THE TOUAREG FROM 2003. Unfortunately, I don't have a better one. So this will be a difficult weekend with a lot of stress, unfortunately. I say let God help you!

I SAY THAT THE LEFT SIDE MOVES FOR HALF A CIRCLE AS SOON AS YOU ENTER DRIVING MODE D. THAT IS NOT THE CASE WITH THE RIGHT SIDE AND THAT SOUND IS COMING FROM THE LEFT AXLE IF YOU TURN THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT TO THE END YOU WILL SEE THE LEFT WHEEL IS SOMEHOW STANDING MORE CROOKED THAN THE RIGHT. 2011 this car had an accident there is a var on the DIFFERENTIAL foot WHICH EXTRA WORRIES ME. I NOTICED THAT WHEN I DID THE SERVICE IN APRIL.

I've been reading this thread since it started. Are you saying you think someone welded the front diff and that's the problem, not the axle? Can you circle in the pic of you front diff where this "var" is, whatever that is?

I appreciate your efforts to explain what you are observing and realize English isn’t your primary language- but I still can’t understand what you are trying to say. The explanations you are giving are so vague that they equally fit a large number of entirely different possibilities. This is why, for example, I tried restating what I thought you were saying in post #12 with different words, but instead of rejecting or confirming my explanation you repeated the same “half circle” explanation which I cannot understand the specific meaning of.

Ultimately the problem is probably just in the CV joint, or just in the differential, but you keep jumping back and forth between discussing the two. I can’t tell if you are still trying to figure out where the problem is and are asking us, or if you already have figured it out and are explaining it to us.

You said there is “a var on the DIFFERENTIAL foot.” What is a “var”? What is a “differential foot?” In the photo there appears to be an oil leak from the differential, is that what you are talking about?

We will close the topic. I sold the car to some guys in Riddes CH (Front differential not working) it was only driven by rear differential. To be clear, THE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL BROKE, THE AXLE IN THE DIFFERENTIAL WAS DEFORMED BECAUSE THE VEHICLE HAD AN ACCIDENT IN 2011 (The old owner hid everything) FOR ALL OF YOU WHO ARE INTERESTED IN THE FATE OF THIS VEHICLE (The new owner will take care of it) I don't have the strength to deal with him for 22 years really took its toll. This video explains that the car does not go to the front Differential watch the video (Rear only)
