Hi I have a problem with the air sus on my v10. dash throws running gear fault after a couple of mins. car def lop sided. put into garage who have run vagcom which comes up with

01598 ( drive battery lower limit reached - intermittent )

01780 (sensor for vehicle leveling mechanical malfucntion- intermittent)

01400 (suspension level control lower limit reached - intermittent)


they tried to reset the suspension but the nsf will not take a value all the other 3 will. tried rocking drive and try recal again with no joy.

bought a new sensor and fitted to the nsf and still the same this corner will still not take a value to recalibrate.

Any ideas ?? Many thanks

If you have VCDS, then lookat this;

If you are in an area where salt is applied to roads to clear ice, then you may have a corroded air line fitting on an air spring. Worth doing an end-to-end integrity check of the air system before getting to deeply into it.

Am currently having the same problem but with my back end jacked up to its highest setting.
