Not sure about the asking price but then again it's got a lot of new(ish) parts on it.
Any warranty on the engine or emissions parts? Just figured it might be worth listing this info.
Best of luck with the sale.

Same thought process. I honestly was not sure on price so I landed on the current asking price and am open to reasonable offers. Good question on the warranty, I should have added that - the dieselgate fix warranty just expired on 9/6/23. The engine replacement came with a 1-year, 12,000 mile warranty and was completed in June 2022, so that is also expired.

Dropping ask to $14900 - also includes 2 extra Pirelli Scorpion tires that have ~50% tread life remaining. Willing to drive within a reasonable radius to show vehicle.

If the weather cooperates this weekend I will update the exterior photos to some without rain.

I have all of the repair order documentation with the technician notes, part numbers, etc. - happy to share those. The vehicle runs great now, nothing mechanical needed / no warning lights or codes thrown. The backup cam doesn't kick on but it has been that way since I've owned it.

This is a great deal with a brand new engine that is worth the full asking price alone! Thank you for posting all of these details... I am waiting on a new engine for mine, and they have it setup so you can't really search for these parts, so it is great to see there is a part # for the CATA TDI engine, and about what it costs, etc. My local dealer lists your engine at $16,534.40.

Why have you owned this for only a couple thousand miles and selling it already

start a new thread.

I find it quite hard to believe the motor seized, but it definitely happens

Educate me on the "apples and oranges"... I am not well versed on VW's... other than they are surprisingly comfortable for my aging sore bones... it own a bunch of Diesel MBs--but all are old... and wife does not want to do 2000 mile road trips in 87 sdl MB...

How "Tired" is the driver seat cushion? ANY Leaks of any oils/fluids?
not very tired, all things considered. A few creases from mileage, no tears or uneven spots from wear - its in great shape.

no fluid leaks that I am aware of.

Any shakes/vibrations- while driving 50-75mph?
No. It once had the well-known steering wheel shimmy around 65-70 but that was fixed with a proper balance / rotation. theres a technical service bulletin out there somewhere about this issue.
