$16,500.00

Check price

Fort Pierce, Florida

It is in super great shape! Has tan interior and slightly over 100K miles. I am 2nd owner. 1st owner had it for 80K miles, at which time he sold it back to VW for diesel "fix". It was in San Antonio the whole time until I got it. I'm in FL, so it has NEVER been exposed to road salt. (has not been exposed to beach salt either)

I absolutely LOVE it! But..... In November I ordered an awesome Ford Maverick hybrid (42 MPG city, 33 MPG hwy.), and we will have one too many vehicles. Because of chip shortages and MUCH greater demand for the hybrid than expected, it is on such a long backorder. I expect to get it sometime in MAY (hopefully!). If I can get significantly more for it than the dealer trade-in value (was $11K in November) or equal to or better than a 3rd party (Carvana offer was $16.5K in November), I'll sell it to someone here interested in it! (y)

Note: If a 3rd party offer is higher or lower when I actually am ready to sell (when my Maverick comes in), I will sell it to you for that price.

I wanted to put "SEE BELOW", but I could not. I clearly listed the offers I got, and what it will take to sell to your offer.

When I am immediately ready to sell, and a 3rd party company offer is $16.5K (the offer I received in November), you can have it for that (if you come to get it with payment in a timely manner; I'll give you 7 days). If the offer then is lower, you can have it for that. If higher, same story.

Update!!! I am FINALLY selling my Touareg VERY SOON as my now 2023 Ford Maverick hybrid is arriving a dealership between Jan. 3 and 9. The current mileage is now 105,547, and based on the HIGHEST current 3rd party offer I will sell it to someone here for $10,500. Everything is 100% working, and no damage/wear inside or out.

Giving up a lot during this transition. Have you driven what you've ordered? A truck that can pull 2k?
2K is PLENTY!!! Sure, I could have gotten a MUCH lower MPG, non-hybrid for $1,000 extra and however much more for all wheel drive (I think it is required for 4K), and however much for towing package, but I have zero need.

FYI: My son towed a pretty good size U-haul with my OLD (18 years old with well over 250K miles) manual Jetta TDI, loaded fully in the car and the trailer with heavy film production lighting equipment and household stuff from FL to So. CA, even though the manual says: FOR TECHNICAL REASONS, YOU CANNOT TOW WITH THIS CAR! :D
I was worried he'd BLOW his turbo in the mountains! Now 9 years later and almost 300K miles, it still has original turbo.

His MPG during the trip dropped from normal 50+ to low 20s!
