Selling and values

So I recently picked up a 2023 GMC Sierra AT4 DirtyMax pickup as my DD. The objective was to trade my 2016 Audi A7 for it, however the dealer doesn't have the A7 clientele so they low balled me. Long story short I still have it (love that car actually).
Anyway, the wife currently drives the Treg but now that I have "new tech" she's getting antsy. She likes the Touareg but hates the tech so in keeping in the family she found a 2020 Q7. I'm thinking of trading my A7 for the Q and privately selling the Touareg. What kind of market is there for a 50k mile 2016 TDI Lux black on black? Is this a seller or will it sit around for a while? I'm not a huge fan of selling cars but I believe in this car's value and don't believe a trade value will be worth it (although admittedly I haven't tried).
I also don't see much action on this site for "modern" Touaregs....seems more action on the V10 beast.

Thoughts?

There's no mods on it except a few RossTech updates....which if private sale it'll go with it (a long with winter rims and tires). For convenience sake a private sale with all the goodies is easier. Yes I can try a trade but figured an Audi for Audi trade might yield a better result. My A7 only has 30k miles and is immaculate.

it pains me to say this but having just sold my 2016 TDI from constant failures of the emissions system. they just aren't reliable ,at least for me. it's great to have the warranty, but when you get the dreaded no start alert on the MFD and you're on the long road trip,it is a huge stressful experience
I did get a good trade in on the car. All these problems were within 30,000 miles.

depending on your states rules you could get a sales tax credit on the trade(s) so why not work the numbers based on trading both ? The spread may not disappear completely bit could make it worth the simplicity factor.

@tadpole yes I can imagine that's a stressful thing. You only had 30k on it? Wow, I thought I was low at 50k. If I may ask, what did you get on trade?

Not that I'm an expert in these vehicles but I've never heard of this on either the Treg or Cayenne diesel. I've read many stories of high mileage success. I did have the ad blue pump failure but warranty covered that.

It's only worth what the right buyer is willing to pay for it.
There's been some crazy listings (IMO) around here, and some have actually sold.....
If you find someone who drives a lot and is up to speed on their warranties etc, they should snap it up realizing that they are looking at potentially driving 2 more years while still being covered by the powertrain and AEM warranties
