I have a friend that asked me a question I don't have the answer for. He has a 05 V8 with around 80k. He said when the touareg sits for over a week(without being started) or it has sat outside overnight when cold (30 degrees or colder) and he starts it it has a clatter/lifter type noise for a couple seconds. I told him I haven't noticed it on my 06 but I would assume they are the same engine. Any ideas or has anyone experienced that?
