On the topic of your problem, has the dealer updated the CAN-BUS gateway module to see the head unit and tell the other components that you have this installed in the vehicle?

Is that the new coding or the original coding? If it's not the original, can you that coding?
It's not that I don't trust the dealership, but, oh wait; I don't trust them. Do you have a VAG-Com?
