Hi guys, having finally got my VCDS, I'm going to finally try to fix my issue.

As a little background info (cry for help!), car is 7L 107K miles, and was fine until the alarm went off one morning, so I got out of bed and opened the car having pressed my key fob. On closing the door, the right front air strut released all its air and the front end has been on the floor ever since.

I did notice before this incident the vehicle was losing height overnight across the front axle, and generally lower to the right hand front corner.

The rear is stuck in XTRA Height and will not drop, whilst the front will, albeit slowly, raise to offload height, but there is imbalance between the two.

Seems to be a component failure.....the pump runs, the front end raises, the back end is stuck?

Any input / advice would be gratefully appreciated.

I can't seem to track down overlimit 1400 - 001
Just this;

My S class back in the day used to do this. I looked like a stripper in the morning face down ass up.

Mine had a leaky air bag in the front end. Take some soapy water and put it on the front air bags. see if there is a leak.

You could try to undo the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes to see if the system resets.

Hi bled the regulator and front and rear axles with VCDS, then it wouldn't recharge them, have a security code issue with suspension calibration too, so after I got it fired back up the rear axle went straight to normal height and the front was low by not as low as loading level.
Will be looking for air leaks tomorrow, but notic d regulator, and axles were only about 7 bar or less, which is low too

Did you try undoing the negative on the battery?
Not yet mate, doing it in the morning, and checking for leaks , disconnecting batteries is a speciality of mine , as my ECU goes to sleep every now and then, so I just carry a 13mm AF Spanner and undo the floor pan earth domed nut in front of the left side front seat, rather than all the seat up and hinged back fun, works a treat.

Okay, so first of a few parts have turned up now View attachment 246176
That is a solenoid valve block. Did you check for leaks at the Residual pressure valve leaks at the shocks? Why do you think it may be that?
To test for leaks, spray soap water at the residual pressure valve at the shocks and watch for bubbles. And do the same at the valve block. If there are no bubbles anywhere, chances are they are working just fine and could be a sensor maybe. What code is VCDS giving you?

Hi mate, VCDS Code 14001, leak, discharged all struts, and reservoir, but they held pressure overnight and height.Problem seems to be height from datum for each corner. Will reply tomorrow morning 👍

I can't find my air suspension relay 7L , I'm thinking it's supposed to be numbered 373, but in my right hand drive V10 the drop down relay board shows these relays and numbers? View attachment 246191 View attachment 246192 View attachment 246193 View attachment 246194
#214 is your air suspension relay. Thats an old relay that was dropped back in 1998. I had that one too. I replaced mine with the most recent one. Part number is 4H0951253A and I have also attached a picture of it.

Then I found this....whilst doing a leak check, with soapy water.... View attachment 246198 View attachment 246199
Fix that height sensor before touching anything else. Leave the valve block alone for now. Either a used one off of ebay or a new one. Don’t mess with it trying to repair it with some tape or glue... you need the exact same thing.
