Hi Guys

just thought I would like to share my project with you so normally im a Audi freak and wanted to buy a Q7, but we just got a baby a little over a year ago so I had to settle with VW touareg 4.2 V8 as our family car, It just needed to fit my standards and match the rest of the cars in the driveway, First i just put some 10x24" inch wheels on the car and the rest was stock and that quickly got boring

so the Basis of the car is a 2004 Vw touareg 4.2 V8 in black with grey interior and wood trimming...

here is what is going to happen:

Porsche cayenne turbo brakes front and rear(I know they are the same I just cant find the time to take mine apart and get them powder coated)
Facelift taillights
26" inch Lexani LSS-10 wheels with 295/25-26 pirelli PZ nero tires
adjustable airride rods to get the car low
Pioneer HD3BT headunit with Ipod interface and a Playstation 2
new beige interior with everything beige, carpet, dashboard the headliner and all a-b-c pillars will be covered with beige suede/alcantara
silver carbon interior trimming
headlights taken apart and painted flatblack
all windows tinted 15%
Feritta motorsport exhaust system
the 2 rear cats removed
VW logo removed from the tailgate
chiptuning
Hofele Royster widebodykit for the facelift touareg but adapter so it fits the old
new paint job in Lamborghini reventon metallic grey with Satin/matt clearcoat

here is some pictures from the car at the dealership were I bought the car:

tinted windows, and the 4cm vagcom modification of the original airride before i got the adjustable rods installed..
I PM'd You about how you lowered the Touareg with VAG and How the rods work...? I posted my question to the VAG Forum don't know where the post went... I will repost there for the VAG side, but if you could answer these two aspects of lowering the Touareg I would greatly appreciate it...

So how much more do these wheels and tire weigh than the stock wheels/tires? I find that I notice the difference in acceleration and braking between my 18" and my 20" wheels. And that difference isn't better with the larger/heavier wheels and tires.

Testfitting the wheels and luckly my calculations was correct and the offset i got the wheels made in fit the car perfectly...
