Ok, so I bought my 2010 V6 lux last week with Trunk mounted CD Changer. I pdf'd the specs after I bought it. Anyway, when I went to upload cd's in it the drive was empty! So I emailed the salesman and he says it didn't come with a 6 cd changer and that I would have to get it installed by a dealer. Am i missing something? Is it just a port, and then you have to do additional work to it? I assumed they just forgot the cartridge. I guess two questions, one is this normal and two how much work is involved to get it working? Do I just buy a cartridge and I am off and running?

So let me get this straight, you have the changer and no cartridge, or you don't have the player at all? If no player at all they are all I believe wired for the changer. Generally installed at the dealer or you buy it and do it yourself. If you have the player and no cartridge then they owe you a cartridge.

I have the changer (black box labeled 6 - disc) As I recall there is just an empty slot were the cartridge goes. Is there another piece missing, or has to be installed separately? I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Yes I have the changer but no cartridge inside it. Is that the only piece inside the changer?
