Big problem ... I just went on vacation I made 2800km in 2 days. I have a problem with the automatic transmission. At the 8 speed around 110kmh I feel tremors and a slight treble noise that disappears with acceleration .. The fact that with the 8 speed

Does it only happen in 8th gear? If it happened in 7th or 6th as well, it might mean that the wheels are unbalanced.
Do you feel it at the steering wheel or the whole car shakes?

Gabriel
Its the fact that in 8th, its does not do it in sport mode ... At the change from 7 to 8 and between 110 and 130 km / h ... the car shakes and we hear a cracking noise with each shaking.

Hello,

So after analysis of volkswagen it will come from the auto gearbox.

He explains to me that in the box there are systems like pads that stick together .. And according to him when jerks are squeaks, they stick for a few seconds.

To really find the problem, you would have to drop the box and open it. Which will cost me a fortune.

He told me that there would be no risk of breakage ... And there is no fault in the computer.

But unfortunately but shaking and squeaking and still present.

Hi again,
When I carried out a full fluid flush on my Touareg transmission, during the process of topping up, not until the correct level was achieved, it seemed as if reverse gear was catching for a few seconds and then releasing. It was not making any noises though but the car shook.
Perhaps you could check the ATF level and asses its condition. It might be that the fluid level is low or that the ATF needs replacing.
I have had a look at SSP466 that deals with the 8speed touareg transmission, and there are solenoids and band brakes that operate, both in 2nd and 8th gear. So, do you feel anything odd in 2nd gear?
With regards to the transmission breakage.... On the contrary, I would doubt that it could not lead to a major repair...
Is not there a tansmission specialist in your area? Sometimes they are quite helpful, as they are the ones that repair the transmissions, not the VW dealer. It might even be a matter of replacing the valve body or a solenoid...

Hello,

Suddenly diagnostic of an automatic gearbox specialist in the Lyon region.

He took a sample of the gear oil

And verdict the oil and burnt.

He told me that my jerk came from the torque converter but by force the box will pick up a good blow.

He did not want to do an oil change because it will cause other problems later.

For him, the automatic gearbox fell apart and refurbished it completely.

He doesn't want to just change the converter because other problems may come later and he is afraid that I will turn on him.

Refurbished quote over 5500 € ...

He told me to undertake legal protection because a box does not burn e '10,000km (km made since my purchase).

Unfortunately I have no legal protection contract.

I don't know what to do anymore ....

My first step would be to perform a full fluid flush too and check the results.
If the car shifts fine, then excellent. In case it does not, there are 8 speed trannies with low mileage, including the torque converter advertised on eb__y for about 1800-2000€ should you want to repair your T.
What Lucas additive you mean?

Here is the additive in question ... Apparently it works miracles

IMO I would first perform a full fluid flush+filter+gasket without any additives.
Once the transmission pan and filter are removed, you can look for debris in the magnets and filter to asses the condition of your transmission.
When I did mine I used Liqui Moly Top Tech 1800.

did that oil come out of the transmission? if so take a coffee filter and run some through it and see if there is alot of tiny dark bits in it that almost look like sand. if it does then that would be your clutch pack facings.
