Hi please can someone help, I have a slow power steering oil leak and have now spotted the one of the metal pipes in front of the radiator towards the bottom has oil running accross it. My problem is I can’t find out what this pipe is called to purchase and replace. Also if you guys can tell me what the two pipes are for?

Thanks

Make sure it's the power steering system (fluid dropping?)

PS : you can only use the green cap fluid for refills - NOT ATF!

Here is the parts list for your V10 power steering

Online Volkswagen Touareg spare parts catalogue, Europe market, 2007 model year: front axle, steering group, oil container and connection parts, hoses, for power steering subgroup, Volkswagen VIN decoder, aftermarket, etka online
Why would I use ATF for the power steering??! what the hell lol

First, If not 100% sure, clean off the area and monitor for the leak to reappear.

Second. The power steering pump is picky. Don't use an universal fits everything import fluid. You will regret it. Find out which fluid is specified and use any fluid that is listed as compatible with that spec. Repeat: The power steering pump is picky and will start to moan and groan if you put an universal fits all fluid in it.

Luck.
