I have purchased a set of element alloy wheels they were drilled
specifically for the 5x130 wheel pattern. My problem is that
the offset is only 35. The wheels are 22x9. Can any one
please tell me how this will look I was told by the wheel
company it will give the truck an aggresive look what the
hell does that mean? I was told they would fill the wheel well
this way.

Please give me some input Im so mad at this entire process with
this guys i bought them from

The 20" wheels for the Touareg are 20x9 with an offset of ET60. 22" wheels should be close to this offset.

With an offset of 35, your wheels will stick out about an inch more than they should.

Some may call this look "aggressive," but it will probably stick your tire rubber out beyond the fenders.

The 35 offset will also upset your suspension/steering geometry - unsure how much this will adversely affect handling.

What size tires are you planning to use?

You wont probably rub or have any issues ... but visually it wills tick out. It may spray the side of the car with tar or gravel once and a while but it wont be too bad. I dont recall the exact offset of my 22's but they stuck out ... if you had the cash to do fender flares to match, then it'd look half-decent probably. The only way to find out, is try'm out. Good luck!

Over the weekend I fitted wheels with offset 35 on my treg.
Frankly speaking the wheel was too out and it looked pretty bad considering my car has oem fender arches. If your stuck with the wheels already and had extra cash, might as well buy ABT or Charactere fender flares to compliment the offset of your wheels. It will make your car look wider.

Good luck and God bless!

.

maybe you can you have them machined to reduce offset..

No, you can not typically machine wheels to reduce offset. Because then the taper of the wheel bolt holes would no longer be tapered for the ball-seat of the bolts to rest against to properly center/fit the wheel bolts. So yeah, maybe a few mm (1-3mm max) machining is okay, but I dont suggest it.
