Please Help
I have just acquired a 2011 Touareg TDI with only 41105 miles. I purchased the Ross-Tech Hex-Net. Can any of you tell me how to activate the adblue pump to pressurize the line and activate the Injector while I have it on Ramps using the VCDS software? Specific instructions, please. I have the notice that engine will not start in 600 miles, I am ordering a new pump and heater (I can have the tank out, disassembled, reassembled and back in in about 1 hr) and want to perform a pressure test and injector test. I am new to vw and vcds and diesel engines but have been working on my own cars for 30+ years.
I really like the VCDS, however, it is not very user friendly, but wrenching on the vw so far has been easier than any other brand I have worked on. That said, I have not touched the engine yet. Their electrical connectors are great.
