04 v8 parking sensors have a mind of their own. Dealer replaced right front inside that was acting up and when that happened, I was able to capture the code with VCDS (vagcom).

Now the red warning and beeps will randomly happen (every couple of weeks)for no apparent reason. No codes picked up. Dealer can't find anything.

Anybody have this problem and found a fix?

Dumb question: You don't use a front-end cover (bra) do you?

Had the same issue..ended up replacing three other park sensors and now no problems.

My fronts do the red warning beeps most of the time when it rains or I've just washed it.

Its a short between the earth (ground) and positive on the sensor cable. Have the same issue and will strip it down and replace with new cable or a patch...
