Sorry to bring back from the dead, but I'm not sure if others had the same issue as me. Same two red lights front and rear. Goes off after 7 MPH etc etc. Happened after a couple hours of rain one afternoon. Have checked all the sensors and have clicks on all of them. Some of the clicks are weaker than others, but still pronounced. Took out the four lower ones on the rear valance (they were just very easy to get at) cleaned with compressed air and re-fitted. Still no luck. Well actually I got them to work briefly before I took them out (went around to the rear and gave all of them a little tappy tappy.) Anyway I feel like the rear is the culprit, but my question is...... If I have clicks on all of them then is it the module? Does the module in the rear control the front and rear, or is there two. Lastly if the module was bad would I have clicks at the sensors, or is it just not processing the data. I'm just confused with the sending process of the sensors. I guess I have to set up an app with VAG-COM. Any help??

I solved the problem--got rid of the Tourareg and two vw jetta tdis. After driving vw's and porsche for nearly 40 years I went japanese. Do have one vw tdi left. I'm simply tired of the dealer telling me he can't find the problem, calling VW customer care to get them to work the dealer, paying for fixes that don't fice the problem or listenting to ill-trained techs say "it's not throwing any code" so nothing gets fixed. I know, it's my dealer, not the vehicle. But if they can't fix it while it is under warranty after I've given them plenty of time, I don't need the vehicle. Done. Loved the Touareg, but I don't have time to fiddle.

Yup, pretty much exactly how I'm feeling right now, Red lights keep coming on intermittently and dealer can't replicate the issue. So sick and tired of dealing with VW service.
Hi, try this video, might be something you already know, but took me ages to find out how to diagnose a faulty one, couldn't find the video I watched but here's a similar one. Hope it helps
