Just got my new V10 T-reg and am debating between buying new rims or painting the factory ones (they must be black either way). Any suggestions? FYI i have a 3-year lease but i dont think it matters.

buy new ones and then sell them when you done with them, your best money option i would think, they would charge you if you painted their rims, i think?
I powder coated my stock rims and they look awesome. I did them in semi gloss black and they came out perfect. The cost of the powder coat was $65 a rim. If somebody tells me how to post the pictures i will.
upload them on photobucket and then place the link in your post. Thats the easiest way to do it i think. I'd really like to see them because i'm leaning more towards painting then getting new ones.
I will try to have the pictures uploaded no later than tomorrow. I just bought a new mac and haven't quite figured everything out. Which means i will have the wife do it for me.
If you live where it snows then buy another set and use the OEM's for winter use if they are all season, otherwise buy a new one and sell the ones you have. I have a set of 19's Athelos that are powder coated black and I am selling them but your way to far for shiping. I bought a set of 22 OZ's or summer driving and AT italia 17's with winter tires for snowboard triping.
Just a question. When the rims were getting powder coated where exactly did you keep the truck? Was it on blocks? I only ask because I am going to get my rims powder coated black also and I just dont know what to do with the thing while they are in. Also, at risk of sounding stupid, did you have to take the tires off?
i bought a spare set of rims and swapped them out when they were done. The tires have to be off because the rims have to go in an oven and have he powder coat ionized on.
