seems like itd be best to make a return trip to the dealer - im assuming this is under the dieselgate warranty?

 

Must have gotten one of the very early 2013s, last dieselgate warranty ran out end of last summer.

 

There's a fuel line that needs to be undone to get the intake manifold off on a CNRB at the rear.

 

That's what I needed to know. I saw in the picture the dealer sent with the intake off and the top of what looked like an injector when pointing out the coolant leak, but as I haven't had this one very long, and the first V6 TDI, I haven't worked around everything on it yet. Most of the experience is on the I4, ALH, CJAA, and CVCA. The other Touareg is the BWF, so not much useful information carryover there.

 

Got it back today, glow plug wire, supposedly. Would have expected a p0672 for that one, but if they corrected whatever really was wrong, so be it.

 

Extremely complicated vehicles. They often trigger codes for things further down the line which makes it complicated to diagnose
