achk,
I have the Driver assist on mine and I love it! The adaptive cruise is superb. I particularly like it when in heavy traffic. I get bored pretty easily in very slow moving traffic and this is a godsend. Starts and stops all by itself...PERFECT!! Never have to worry about hitting the car in front. The only thing is making sure you don't run through any red lights if the car in front goes through on the orange...
Pull the lever to take off again if you have been stopped for more than a few seconds.
The lane assist is good too. I have it set on the highest level. I am a drifter on the road and it does help me keep inside the lines.
One thing that has taken me by surprise a few times is the emergency brake assist. When the car thinks you will hit the car in front it will activate emergency braking. This has taken me by surprise a few times when there is a lane-shift, e.g. right hand lane becomes a turn lane and you have to veer/merge left. The car cannot see that the lane moves and thinks you are heading into stationary traffic at 60kmh. The dash turns red, lights flash, seatbelts tighten, the brakes slam on and shudder. I tell you...the adrenaline hits hard when you think you are going to have an accident (even when you knew you weren't...)
I have the 20's on mine and love them, however I found out the hard way what replacement OEM tyres cost in Sydney.
Wife - "Car need a wheel alignment darling..." Two days and 40 kilometres later look at the car and see the flat tyre...NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
$590 (from Jax quickfit) Thank you very much. (Chris at Haberfield was very helpful)
For looking after the paint and interior I have gone to carecareproducts dot com dot au (not affiliated, just happen to be down the road from me) great range of proper quality products and great support from the owner.

The car is great in every way and you will find that the dealers know nothing about them
The Dynaudio is great I find it adequate with the sound pumping out very loud and bass up, the hard drive is a bit weird as I loaded 22gig of music onto it when it said it only had 19 gig spare and it still says it has spare room for more media, you can also put two media cards into the system for additional music etc they can be up to 32 gig each, the system also has a built in phone which you can slot a sim card into or if you have a compatible blue tooth phone it will take control over the sim and use the inbuilt phone in the car, it's a weird blue tooth standard 2? But in simple words audio is great
I have the bi Xeon heads lamps and researched them and even checked them on utube, but the Australian Zeons do not get the smart technology that lets them auto dip, this is a bit disappointing, but the light out put is very good
The drivers assist pack is great, I have had no close calls but I have driven from Orange into Sydney doing highway speeds down to crawling pace and stops and it has not missed a beat I have my foot ready to pounce, the blind spot warning system is very good it has lights in the sides of the mirrors that flash at you when anything is even partly close in a blind spit, you also have the lane assist function which takes care if you wondering over the lines this is a must have
The area view camera system is very clear, today it rained and water drips blurr the picture but otherwise a must for this car
Air suspension is great and once I get my head around it, it can only get better
Speed alert, this is a must the car flies and you don't know this until the warning comes up telling you have exceeded 140km without even knowing it
Moon roof is great
Back door has occasional issues when it unlocks itself? Lost a drill set out the back door, door opened by itself quarter way up
Now comfort pack this is a must have, the cooling in the seats is so cool and in the mornings the heated seals and steering wheel is awesome, the leather looks heaps better then the standard leather with the perforations in the seat
Fuel economy today was averaged out at 7.7 litre per 100 did 700 km today
What else could I say, have not worked out an easy way to find the digital dip stick display, Volkswagen do not know there product well enough hence you get the car and worked it out your self
Mine also has the low range gear box (super bonus here)
I ALSo took at the optional five year warranty, retail is 3200 and Bayford knocked a grand off it, just in case I need it 2200 bargain
In simple terms you will be very happy with the car, if you need any more details just MSG me
