just bought a 2005 2.5 tdi sport in Black-love it!
need some guidance please. firstly I wanted to fit some chrome exhaust tail pipes but the standard exhaust has a little bend at the end-what type of after market accessory would fit?

secondly-there is an ignition /key slot adjacent to the gearstick(its an automatic) where the keyless start knob would be. I can insert my ignition key and turn it but it does not actually do anything.I think it may just be a "filler" as ther first owner decided not to take the option of keyless start -any thoughts?

thats my first couple of questions-there'll be more to follow I'm sure

I have a 2007 TDI that 2nd key slot turns off the passenger airbag for child seats etc. dunno. About the tail pipes tho

The key slot is to disable the passenger air bag.

Any good exhaust fitter can fix it with a Mig Welder. Simple cut and shut!

thanks for your help guys-not sure why would you want to turn them off in the first place (child in child seat perhaps) and also (just a thought)-if you did take up the option(or had taken the option when buying new originally) of keyless technology where would the passenger airbag disabling switch be?
