I am back with a new question :D
Is there a table/chart of the maximum speed per gear, both in high and low range? I am interested for the 3.2 v6 but it would be great if we could have this info for all Touaregs
Why don't you make a start yourself?

Take your car out, redline it in every gear [low and high] and come back and post the speeds recorded.

I' ve tested what i was mostly interested for, top speed with 2nd gear about 75km/h (~47mph). This means that with 2.7:1 low range and 2nd gear it will be around 28km/h (~17mph), just above the 25km/h limit that the car goes down from Xtra to off-road level. That's good news because it means that as long as you stay in 2nd low you are not in a big risk of having the car lowering at a place you need the full height.

Yes. You will find it marked on the Tachometer .......it's also called redline!
Sorry for asking but with Tachometer you mean the rpm or the speed? (tachometer comes from the ancient greek tachi and metron that means measuring the speed). If you mean the speed then in mine i don't have red lines indicating the maximum speed per gear

Yes, he meant the tacho!
