Just joined Club Touareg as my first ever Online Forum. Bought our Touareg over 4 years ago and just love this car. I found this site looking for a bullbar for the car as we are planning a 12 months trip around Australia towing a caravan.

You will find this forum of great help, and the Australian owners are very helpful to others out there = especially in sharing information on sourcing parts etc which can sometimes be a bit more of a challenge than in other parts of the world.

In terms of a bullbar, not aware of any that are made for the Touareg that are available readily, but have a look at the one that Alex Gee, a member from Sydney, has fabricated from an old Pajero bullbar.

I suggest you have a read of the whole thread as it is a mine of information and useful ideas. Am a little biased as Alex just made up and fitted some underbody protection for me recently. High quality work indeed.

You may be able to get something made to fit yours using his as inspiration.

Also plenty of tips in the towing section and several members here are towing vans in Oz so ask away for any help, advice or sharing of info you may have
