I've been lurking this site for a few weeks while looking for my next vehicle. I'm truly appreciative of the community here, and all the information it has offered a new/potential owner. So, let me start by saying Thank You!!!
Onto the truck, I picked it up this past weekend, campanella white on anthracite with 31k. It came nicely optioned from the factory with cricket leather, power passenger seat, rns510 nav, bi-xeon hid, terra 19" wheels, all weather mats, and the towing package.
With help from some of the guides I've read on here, I've already ordered the 7-way plug, factory connector for the brake controller plug, and a prodigy P3. Looking forward to becoming part of this community.

Pulled the terra wheels to repair some curb damage from previous owner. I found a nice set of Cayenne S wheels locally to use in the meantime.

Just need to decide if I should go with a gunmetal inlay on the terra or keep the factory silver/machined look.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Choices are definitely limited with the nineteens. I had a set of Yokohama Avid Envigor(255/55-19) installed my wife's ML350 this year and they were a perfect match for daily driving. I'm not sure how the they would handle the wider 9" wheel, and increased curb weight of the treg, but they are on my list. I could then run a more aggressive tire on the current wheels.
Thanks for the suggestion on color choices, I'm still undecided at this point.

Looks good! What part of NYS are you in? If more agressive tires (and offroading) are in your plans, there are a few of us in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast that use our Tregs for what they were made... ;)

We were hit pretty hard by Sandy over here. Electric was just restored to my street yesterday. Still without internet but when we get that back I will post some pics of the refinished terra wheels.
I would definitely be interested in seeing what she is capable of offroad. Which tires would you suggest for the 18" wheels? I was thinking of going with toyo open country a/t.

Those and the Nitto Terra Grapplers are pretty popular. It just depends on your needs & plans. There's a wealth of info on the forums here...

Offroad-wise, you have some good options. There's the outer beach permit you can get as a Suffolk resident. It isn't free, but a good amount cheaper if you live here. Then there's the Pine Barrens and trails off-island.

Hope this helps--Chris

We are back up. :)

So, went down to pickup my refinished wheels and the shop discovered a bubble in one of the tires. So far these are the only photos I have. "Should" have this all corrected and mounted by the weekend.
They look better in person, just a cell phone pic for now.

While we're posting tire pics, here's what's sitting in my garage. They're just waiting for my Treg to come back from the dealer.

Now all I need is some snow...

New Hankook Dynapro's Chris?

Nope! I wanted a deeper tread and/or severe snow rating in 265/65R17. If the Hankooks had an LT version in this size they would've been hard to pass up. But after looking at all the options, I went with General Grabber AT2s.

Thanks for sharing. I was literally just checking out the at2 while at the tire shop this week. What caught my eye on them was the deep thread and that they were studable. Seems like they would be well suited for winter ice as well as off road mud and rocks.

Quick rant...my new tire arrived Friday...and [drum roll]....they sent the wrong one. Looks like I will be waiting a few more days. Apparently the conti cross contact lx sport is not very popular so it has to be ordered.

Very cool. I have a set of very lightly used GY Wrangler SilentArmors in my basement. Ordering a fifth next week to go with the four I have. I bought the four from a member on here for a great price and am looking at getting them fitted in a couple weeks. 265/60/18 and I can't wait to get them on and get some snow.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Nice! Is that for four? Do you have a fullsize spare? I don't mean to be the tire nanny, but the Treg really doesn't like mixed sizes...

Yes, that was a set a four. Negative on the full size spare though, just the space saver. The factory air compressor was missing so I upgraded to a Smittybilt compressor. I'll also keep a tire plug kit on board. I'm hoping that will suffice for now.
On a side note, I finally picked up the completed terra wheels. Very happy with the color choice, they will look real sharp against the white body. Being so late in the year, I decided not to mount them until spring. That was a bit of a let down, but it is a smarter move to just get the cayenne wheels set up now before the winter sets in.
Winter forecast states above average snowfall this year....Cannot Wait!
First significant snowfall, let's compare the AT2 to the RF10. I'll buy the coffee.

Why wait for snow? Let's pick a day and find some dirt/mud. ;-)
