Since all the GDPR privacy changes in Europe, I get a few messages that a specific US website isn't available in my region but most US websites don't have an issue - I wonder if something similar is happening the other way.


I've raised the issue on myTreg.

 

Admin are investigating - your account is tagged as spam, wrongly, but many need a bit more work.

 

Thanks. I cant remember what I've posted there, if anything, to trigger that. I can understand that mistakes are made but what was frustrating was that I was blocked from contacting administrators.

I've just tried to view the "mytreg.com" site and my employer has this site listed on a "blacklist" and therefore I am unable to access it during working hours. DAMN.

 

Hi Folks, I'm new to this forum but am a MyTreg member, but all of a sudden I cannot get on the forum when I try it says "could not determine your ip address" and a couple of other members I know have same problem but we have no way of contacting the forum administrators.

The administrators at mytreg.com and the moderating crew are well aware of the access issues there and are doing their level best to have the problem identified.

I check in their each day as my ISP and IP address seem to be immune to whatever it is that is causing the issue there.

I understand the frustration as another forum that I am an Admin at had a similar issue a few years ago. We were not able to resolve. Changing the forum software to a different platform seemed to fix it, but, to explain further is beyond me. Sorry.

The access issue is erratic and, as has been said, they are trying to fix it.

It appears to be something to do with IPV6 - though quite why it is suddenly an issue and why access is erratic I know not (I don't even know what IPV6 is about anyway!).

Try again when you are out and about as I can get in when using other peoples' modems even though they have the same modem and Internet provider as me!!
