So when are we gonna find out? ;)
i'm ready!!! did a little off roading along side my neighbors quads, almost got stuck in mud up to my door, and impressed the hell outta them when i took a steep incline from a dead stop...

but with the upgraded sway bars it was a bit tough to navigate over some larger, loose rocks

Well you don't want to mess with the cats before the flex pipe on your 04 (or any treg i believe), simply cause you'd have to drop the engine to remove it -so no catless downpipes... you have 2 cats after the turbos/before the flex pipe, then 2 more afterwards that are easily removed. on the 06's and newer we have DPF's after the flex pipe (still easy to remove) but are much harder to 'delete' cause the ecu's tied into the dpf/emissions etc.

It shouldn't be difficult for you or an exhaust shop to fab straight after the flex -i have looked into it: Lou's Custom Exhaust & Mufflers removed my muffler and i will go back to them for the dpf removal/straight pipe install.
There are secondary cat removal straight through exhausts made, they cost a ****load -search cayennes.

good luck!
Fabspeed looks like they make them for the Cayenne. Not sure if they will fit a Touareg.

I wonder if Lou could be talked into making a couple ss pipes for DIY people. This would only be for off road use of course.

@ BIGMM24 If you have VAGcom then when it suits, take some logs and forward them to me. I will revise them and see if more safe power can be had from your engine. If there is, I will send you new tuned files (NO extra costs).

Same goes to all my customers, Email me info@customspooling.com of which measuring blocks you need to log and for instructions on how to do this.

Sounds good! I don't think I'll make it to NH before the CO rally though. But I should be back around the end of August. And I'll definitely be interested in hitting the trails again then.
