Looks like you have several issues to attend to. First would be removing the cheap chinese unit and get an android auto head unit that has nothing to do with your climate controls.

 

I already bought on ebay from a seller the original climate control for the Touareg for 170 euros with DHL delivery and the Android multimedia which has no contact points with the climate control. All this I am doing is proof that you should not buy MULTIMEDIA of this type because they cause problems.

 

The manufacturer from China is hiding these problems well. And another important thing is that when you have this multimedia, you cannot read the parameters of the climate controller. Via VCDS or WOW or DELPHI, none of the diagnostics have access to the climate controller. Access is returned with the original climate control unit.

 

I think all the people who installed this multimedia in their TOUAREG had the same problems because the ECU doesn't have the AC Controller signal because it just doesn't see it.
