So my treg has done 100k miles all together. Its been mine for last 5 years. I am happy to say my treg was one of the trouble free ones. In last 5 years I payed about 1500$ on repairs and maintenance, and that is not too much in my opinion.

The only thing that doesnt work on it are the parking sensors and no dealer or mechanic could find whats wrong with them. The good thing is that they worked first 2 years, and when I got used to the touareg i didn't need them anymore. But the red light and beep still annoys me.

Like to be a part of this forum. Lot of money saved and there were always some interesting non-touareg themes. ;-)

Also since this touareg was great for me I intend to keep it another 20-30k miles and maybe than look for a used t3.

What speed were you traveling? 100km/h perhaps? There was a YouTube video once upon a time of a guy in a Porsche (911 I presume) going 111 MPH, at either 1:11 pm or 11:11 am with 111,111 miles on the car. Maybe I'm making that up and maybe it was in metric units...anyways. Congrats...that's a lot of time spent in the captain's seat.

I've had the opportunity to flip the 100k mark on the odo with two new cars in my life.
1991 Nissan pathfinder and 2002 Acura tl (currently has 171k miles...3 transmissions...motor has been flawless). I hope to be the one to flip that mark on my touareg (currently has 1,200).

Usualy I travel at 90-110 kmh in sixth speed when I want to save fuel.. Wanted also to put a pic of that but my phone ran out of battery..

Sometimes i drive a bit faster, but never seen avg fuel consunption higher than 8,5l/100km when on oper road/highway. City is a bit worse, about 10litres.. I like when i fill it up and see 1250 km on the trip computer :p and do almost as much.. I believe I could do probably about 1500km on only highway driving. But also never leave it to go under the second red line on fuel cluster.
