Either the mfd screen has burnt out or the mfd backlight is burnt out.

You can buy both parts. If you can do circuit board repair, you can fix it yourself. Last time I looked, there were a few places that would fix either or both issues, if you shipped the instrument cluster to them.

I saw some post speaking about mfd issues they said that the high voltage transformer was the source of the issue but it was a red mfd not a coloured one i have to be sure before replacing them

You are thinking about the fluorescent back light. Those do have a high voltage transformer and that transformer is the most common failure point of the back light.

The backlight is fluorescent. Fluorescent lights run on high voltage. The transformer is to make a high volt, low amp power to run the backlight.

The lcd screen does not need the transformer, but you need a backlight to read the lcd screen.

I have seen the transformers for sale on ebay. I have seen the lcd screens for sale on ebay.

Your real problem is do you have a backlight problem or do you have a screen problem.

as you can see on the pic it's a red screen it shows no images anymore
I guess it's a screen problem but i am not sure.
Do you have a diagnostic procedure for that ?
