Just realized today that the lower DRL ( refer pic) of my 2015 doesn't seem to be working.
The upper one works fine.

Any idea what could be wrong.
There is no error code in the MFI

It's a pretty common issue, and they'll both need to be replaced. I just had one go out recently and thanks to CPO was replaced. I'm waiting for the other one to go out as it's only a matter of time. Here in USA my dealership quoted $1,500 USD if it was out of pocket costs. Ebay has a few options that are OEM or used for purchase. What I'm not sure of is if there's anything else that needs to be done when they go, or if it's simply purchase a new unit for plug and play. Good luck!

My 2015 had the same problem. I tried changing a driver module that was mounted on the headlight and that was a total waste of time. In order to get the headlight assemblies out you have to take off the front bumper cover which is a pain.

Somewhat common. Replace the whole headlight.

Same issue here. 2015 TDI Exec with 100k. Right LED strip went out. Left seems a bit dim. About $1500 to replace. Question is whether to do both even though left is still working, which would save a few hundred having to drop bumper again… Has anyone had any luck convincing VW to comp these? Seems like a common issue, as mentioned… Class action???
