I 10000% agree about not going to Gunther. They are not in the business of customer service at all. I had a horrible experience from the Gunther in Ft. Lauderdale, lied to me about getting a Touareg and never made any movement to order one on two months. Luckily Chris from Langhorn, PA is saved the day for VW. Sorry to possible thread jack, but I saw Gunther and two year old memories came back.

They owe me 10k for my trade in, and have been dicking around for 3 weeks now. They don't return phone calls, even the managers don't return calls! WORSTdealership ever!

Yea but someone at vw can check history and see if it ever had any warranty claims for any problems that might not show on consumer end

I think some have had success with the VIN number and VW support live chat.

I also believe the carefree maintenance for 36k would still be in effect.

Well I just ordered the car from the carmax in ft lauderdale it will be here in Tampa in 7 days or before $149 transfer fee so if its not what I think or anything I'm only out $149

2013 Touareg TDI Exec. $49,998

Had a local dealer run the vin to see any warranty history and none found so it was bought new by cash never financed and 4 months later turned into carmax. Kinda weird but people's situations can change I guess. I hope it is what I expect

Honestly that would be great to have a fellow owner check it since you would know what to look for... I am not sure if its going to be there or if they will even let you look at it since I already paid for the transfer this morning. You can try and I will pm you my number and if they have questions maybe they will call me?

One thing I can tell you is don't go to a gunther vw store! It was the worst car buying experience I've ever had! I love my Touareg but will never buy from them again.
