Yeah I know... The sensors trip at almost 40% so you can drag it out for ever... I replaced mine because my OCD wasn't allowing me to drive with the warning light on. Next time I trip the sensors, I might just plug in the new sensor and drive for another 4-6 months before doing the pads.

Proper OEM bolts with the conical washers, etc? Check for dropped weights.... tire shops techs are too lazy to clean the surface and stick-on weights fly off all the time.

WHT002529 is part number and all oem. I actually had to buy some when I bought the vehicle because the asshats at Ford removed the locking bolts and didn't replace them.

I removed all wheels and cleaned/grinded all surfaces of rust and corrosion on the wheel and hub. Still there. Could be those Nitto tires the previous owner put on because my nokian R3 winters had no issue for the most part.

My nokian tires, the wrg3 SUV, lasted me one solid year before they cupped, feathered and wore out like a bastard. Always rotated. My theory is even their SUV line cannot handle the weight and aggressive AWD of the Touareg

So they just tricked the sensor I'm guessing. I mean I've seen this with ls stuff too. Tuners will tune out the knock sensors and I'm like you can't be serious!!! I get de sensitizing to a certain extent(we do this with ls stuff for big cams) but a set value with no reaction is a recipe for disaster.

Only if you care about EGTz, but I always get laughed right off the forum every time I mention EGT. What better way to not worry about something going wrong than to just ignore it completely!
