Anyone ever order the 1K0955559AH version of this rain sensor? If I get one on eBay, it comes from China for like $35, but if I order from genuine VW store here stateside it's like $200. Does the Chinese version work just as good? Seems for the price it may be worth it to give it a try.

No pigtail that I know of. Do I need a pigtail? I figure I just need to replace a defective sensor.

I upgraded to the AH years ago, definitely an improvement. I would not gamble on a Chinese sensor.
Their VW MAF copies are notoriously bad. And their VCDS cables don't work, thank goodness. No respect for intellectual property.

Right, I have one already. It it seems defective so I'm just replacing the sensor, no additional wiring needed.
