I bought the parts 18 months ago and since I don't drive the truck all that much I was in no hurry but since I will be selling it soon I knew I should do it now. I used Brembo front rotors, Zimmermann rears, Wagner front pads, and the rear pads were like new Brembos so I left them alone. The parking brake shoes looked like new as well. I was going to paint the calipers red but after thinking about it decided red wouldn't look right on a grey truck. The calipers are anodized? aluminum Brembos so I just cleaned them a little and added white Brembo decals.
Fronts:
These are some heavy big ass rotors and the calipers are 6 piston design but only weigh like 3 pounds.
Rears:
The rear rotors are almost as big and are ventilated and the calipers are 4 piston.
I finished up with adjusting the parking brake and a Valvoline Synthetic Dot 4 brake fluid flush and change.
And while the wheels were off I cleaned and waxed them inside and out as well.
The whole job took two whole days.
