I have a 2006 V8 with about 65000 miles on it. I have noticed it happen before but it has been occurring more often now. I can take my foot off the of the gas and let it coast to a stop going uphill or flat ground and sometimes it will rev down in 4th and then jump to 3rd and it will feel as if someone rear ended me. It can be dangerous because if I don't hit the brake fast enough I could end up rear ending the car infront of me. I read about the transmission valve body and was wondering if this is a possibility. If it needs to be replaced how much does it usually cost?
