The warning beep while opening the hatch seems pretty unnecessary and I think it’s annoying. Is there a way to code this off with VCDS?

Yes, in Adaptation you can turn it on and off, when it comes on (opening, closing, from door switch, fob, hatch switch, etc) the volume, and the pitch. You could try turning the volume down first, or having it come on only when opening from the fob or door switch. I keep mine on with lowered volume just incase someone is standing behind it when i open it.

Oh ok.. thanks a bunch. I will have to check it out. Maybe turning it down will be ok. I am just glad it’s can be adjusted.

If you don't have VCDS, you can also just unplug it. My speaker is sitting somewhere on my workbench.

So is it under volume of acoustic warning? it has activated. So should I deactivate that? It requires a security code to deactivate that.
