in my country the only terrain i can drive my tuareg 2(v6-FSI) off road is the desert.
when i drive in the desert i need to keep the gear on the second with high RPM but in the tuareg when it reaches the red line.the car shift the gear to third which result in huge deceleration of the car then getting stuck in the sandskaboomdespite i but it in the tiptronic shifting and disable the traction control.
any suggestion to prevent the car from shifting ???

i want it approximatly on the red line not higher so the maximmum power can be attained

when we go on top of a sand dune all the wheels spins so when the car shift on the 3rd gear the RPM drop and the wheels stop spinning then the car stop in the middle of the way.

the first gear until 60km/hr = too slow
the second gear until 120km/hr = the speed is ok
the third gear until ???km/hr = i will not risk it in the sands

in the low range all the momentum lost in the shifting periods and it gives a warning sounds past the 80 Km\hr

no not 80+
the wheel speed 80+ the car speed must be less since its a sand (soft)
i saw i video in youtube about the place i usually go to its one of the biggest dunes we have. the car can drive on it.
search in youtube about

desert turbos bdayer

only one video will show up :D
