Hey, I have 18' tires/wheels, but it looks a bit small. Is it possible to use a little bigger size like 265/60R18 rather than follow 255/55R18. Still it is a bit less than 19' - 275/45R19. I am not sure if it is still have enough room while turn left or right...

Anyone who already have use custom size without any problem, please let me know the size that will fit. I must use all season tires.

Thanks.

TIRE SIZING

keep in mind you mentioned the wheel look a little small on the touareg but if you make the tire any bigger than what it is already the rim will look even smaller because you will have alot more side wall another thing top keep in mind in the rims width if its too narrow tire will begin to baloon on the rim ... a rim and tire change should be done to attain the proper ( PROPORTIONAL LOOK )

Do you think that there is any more room for a little bigger tire in there? For instance when you turn the wheel all the way can you fit your hand/fingers between the tire and the fender liner etc. ??

I was not sure which size Charles put on his Touareg. We have had terrible mileage wear with the Continental Stock tires, and the Michelin Pilot LTX 255/55-18 (width 10", sidewall 5.5", dia. 29"). I was considering going to either a 285/55-18 (width 11", sidewall 6", dia. 30.3") or the 275/60-18 (width 10.8", sidewall 6.5", dia. 31"). Does anyone know if those sizes would fit? Also, both of those sizes increase the load capacity from 1984 lbs (stock) to 2403 lbs.
