ebay will give you the greatest exposure . . . good luck. You should be able to get $25,000 for it.

 

You will be very lucky to get 25k, the market is HORRIBLE with these trucks.

Is anyone buying used Treg's?

Only when without better knowledge or in sane,
SORRY, BAD JOKE but half of it is true when youre talkin about early -04 models

 

In the current SUV market you will be VERY lucky to get $20k out of it. Yes, that stinks but it is reality. Look at eBay "sold items" for reality check.

 

If you're a seller, the SUV market sucks..the used Touareg market sucks even more. I agree $20K out of an '04 would be good.

 

I just got an '04 with 38k miles for 20k. Hope that helps.

 

I just bought an 04 v8 premium plus package (fully loaded with with teek leather, air suspension, etc) with 26,000 miles. I paid $23,000 for this bad boy.

 

in Russia such Touareg from USA will be 47 000$... stupid laws...

 

In Australia that treg would cost $45000 to $50000 or more and our dollar is at about 97c to the US dollar.that sucks.

Why the inflated price tag?

 

It's not a great time to sell any vehicle. Dealerships are hurting. Unless you have to sell for some reason, you're much better off keeping it. They've never been "hot" sellers so the used market is even slower. Most people don't know enough about them to seek them out. But why sell a vehicle that runs like a Z06 Vette on-road and a Baja champ off-road?

 

It's not a good time to sell anything expensive, property, cars, the market just sucks! it's depressing really.
