So I want to get an ipod adaptor but I'm not sure if I should go with DICE or iConnect. I have an 05 with nav, no satellite radio. I think I want the connector to be in my center console. Which means I want to be able to control what I'm listening to either on the head unit, or on the steering wheel. I would like to be able to still control it from the iPod directly so a passenger could do it, or so I can get through my artists faster to find the CD I want to listen to.

My husband and I will probably do the install, so any feedback on how easy or hard either of these systems is to install would be greatly appreciated. :D Thanks!

Okay well I ended up just emailing Dice, and apparently their system plugs in to where the CD changer was as well. So, that rules out Dice for me because I still want my CD changer functional.

No AUX button. So I have to do it the hard way. And since I don't really know what connectors I have on the back of my head unit it's hard to make a decision. I heard about something that might work for me in another thread earlier today.

If you have the DVD nav (which is what it sounds like), you have an AUX button in the CD menu. Check for it there. You can use one of my AV cables for that.

If you have a CD nav, then you should have an AUX button (which is why I think you have the DVD nav).

I have the DICE. I'm pretty sure they offer an option that allows you to retain the six disk CD changer. Even without that option, you can still play CD's in the head unit itself (instead of the NAV CD or DVD).
