OK so I've compiled together a list of all the possible TCM's that I have found:
If anyone has one that is different please post it here along with the year.

I am also going to list the ones that I can currently flash, and the ones that I need donors for.

Thanks everyone!

0C8927750G Can flash now!

0C8927750AK I need a non fix donor for this one!

0C8927750CF Can flash now!

0C8927755 Can flash now!

0C8927755R I need a non fix donor for this one!

Again please let me know if any of you have a different TCM part number!

Troystg up above had some great pics- made it a lot easier for me to replace it.

USPS was very slow due to Christmas rush- just got the TCM yesterday. Installed it today and went for a drive around the valley.

I think it is much improved. It actually uses second gear- before it would just kinda "skip" over it. It no longer tries to hold gears and rev up to 2600 RPM or so and just hang there when the engine is cold.

Doesn't seem to have the delay when entering an intersection with a yield sign- so when coasting at a slow speed then giving it gas it used to have a delay then a clunk as it suddenly figured out that it should be driving.

Very happy with it. It's the way the transmission should be.

@yrktreg It seems that my new user status disallows for sending out private messages. Please send me your contact information if you are still providing TCU flashing services for the Cayenne Diesel.

@Troystg Thanks for the pictures and procedure on swapping the TCU. That really helped me understand where to look and purchase necessary tools required before starting the job.

I just spent a couple days driving on my tuned TCU I got back from Joe this week for my '15 Cayenne. Couldn't be happier with the results. While USPS Priority took a week to travel only a 5 hour drive away, Joe turned around the tune quickly and graciously sent it back 2nd day back.

Most noticeable is the shift pattern while the car is warming up. No more hung shifts and holding high RPM. Very happy with the performance regained.

I was able to remove and reinstall the TCU without removing the seat but just moving it up and forward. From there, you pull the carpet up and stick your arm in to feel the TCU, press the release tab on the sides and pull it out.

I'll bought a spare TCU (0C8927769AG) that I will be putting up for sale on eBay unless someone here would like to buy it.

Hi yrktreg, hope things are going well for you now.

I have a 2011 Touareg TDI and I too am not happy with the post-fix coding.

I have a source for a used spare TCU from another Touareg TDI. Would I be able to send you that TCU from the different car and have it work on mine after you have it recoded?

Thanks!

As long as it is from an 2011-2012 TDI yes you can, other modules won't work for you.

I have a post on here with how to instructions on sending it in.

I am hopefully going to feel well enough soon to post up the exchange list/ and extra units I have for sale.
That is for people that want to have me send them a unit and they send me their back, or the extra units are for people that want to be able to swap in and out as needed.
IIRC I have 2 2015-16 Cayenne Modules, 1 2013-2016 Q7 module, 1 2013 Touareg module, and 1 extra 2015-2016 Touareg module for sale.

I bought an extra and the original has not been back in!!

Tuner box is on the way so between the two, more hp/tq, better shifting and no voided warranty. Can switch back to OEM very quickly.

On a side note. My DPF light came on today. I believe that the pre fix TCU tune that I installed shifts at a lower RPM and subsequently allows the DPF to accumulate soot. To resolve the problem I had to run the Touareg at an RPM higher then 2700 while maintaining a speed of higher then 40 KMH. So I took it out for a blast on the highway and had to keep the the trans in 6th gear and 15 mins later the DPF light turned off. I continued for another 15 mins in the DPF clean out configuration to give it a good clean.
