Has anyone had immobiliser issues after reconnecting the batteries?

Had my batteries disconnected overnight in the hope that it would reset the issue with the air suspension being uneven.

Not only has the suspension remained wonky but now I have immobiliser issues.

Power to dash and all other components intermittent . Engine will start when dash lights up but shuts off within a couple of seconds without warning.

When I reconnected the batteries there was a brief message IMMO ACTIVE. Now can't even run a scan tool on it.

Front battery is new. Rear battery was at peak charge when last checked.

All suggestions welcome

How did you disconnect reconnect the battery? Under the seat or with the ground/earth plug under the driver floor mat?
If the first try again. Use the bolt under the driver floor mat. Leave it unplugged a few minutes again. If it does not work go through the fuses with a voltmeter to check if you blew anything while reconnecting. I’ll add a video of how to check the fuses with a voltmeter if you don’t know that already.

Bonjour Trespect,

Tres respect por vous at merci beaucou.

Je suis Canadien et travaillez dans Angleterre por dix-huit ans. Mon Francais c'est one peu maitnant.

I hope that translates correctly as my French is extremely rusty.

I disconnected both batteries at their terminals, the front one first. Then reconnected in reverse order, rear first.

It had power initially but then the voltage gauge just went from 14v to 8v and the engine died.

Thanks for the link, mon frere.

When it comes to electricity I'm pretty useless. So any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Front battery charged overnight. Turned the key this morning and every light in the house, or dash, was on.

Cleared the codes and recanted. This was the result...
