How did you disconnect reconnect the battery? Under the seat or with the ground/earth plug under the driver floor mat?
If the first try again. Use the bolt under the driver floor mat. Leave it unplugged a few minutes again. If it does not work go through the fuses with a voltmeter to check if you blew anything while reconnecting. I’ll add a video of how to check the fuses with a voltmeter if you don’t know that already.

Battery killswitch

Anyone using something like this: I'd like to push it further and install a similar switch where i can reach it without having to go through the hassle of getting to the battery if I need to disconnect it.

I hope that translates correctly as my French is extremely rusty.

I disconnected both batteries at their terminals, the front one first. Then reconnected in reverse order, rear first.

It had power initially but then the voltage gauge just went from 14v to 8v and the engine died.

When it comes to electricity I'm pretty useless. So any help would be sincerely appreciated.

You need to test the batteries. Do you have a multimeter. Do you have a battery charger/tender?

Lol not sure which will be more tres dificile, mon Francais ou la Grande Auto.

Have a battery tester and a charger and a light device for testing fuses. Will check them in the morning.

Front battery charged overnight. Turned the key this morning and every light in the house, or dash, was on.

Cleared the codes and recanted. This was the result...

P1601 - Voltage Supply Relay - terminal 30

Will now see if the if a number 30 relay...

If anyone has knowledge or experience of this code please let me know.

 

You have a wiring issue there. Terminal 30 is a positive wire. Either the battery positive or a module positive wire or a relay positive wire is going out. Or the whole module. Which one? That’s the big question ! Maybe the Central Electronics Module is dying.

Or it may be there because you disconnected the battery or the battery voltage was too low. Do you still see the code after you cleared all codes?

It was when I first connected the batteries. It hasn't come back since.

 

Voltage error codes are common when battery has low voltage or when you disconnect/reconnect it. So did you try starting the treg?

Yes starting and running fine again. The battery needed charging off the vehicle.

Have also rigged a fix for the suspension issue too.

 

So no more issues then ! Champagne !!
