ahhhh you guys are killing.....that's the picture of the truck I saw that was making me think black....he did such a good job with that truck
With the black one, you have to take the sporting route as JAMESY1010 did. Larger mags, sport dropped suspension, red calipers, etc, allows the black to show off the curves. It simply transforms into something else IMHO.

It is definitely a personal decision, as nickm stated. IMO, hit the send button :p Here are some photos of a black T3 I saw in a parking lot puke (i couldn't help but use this smilie). May help with your decision(although I'm sure you've seen many photos of black T3s). Gives a more real-life perspective than that pro photo.
On the flip side, you are right, this stock black one looks no where near as good as the one I posted up in post#6 by JAMESY1010. It's all up to the end users fine detail to execute said direction.

laith... good to know you've made a decision and although all the colors are nice as previously stated on this thread, I think you'll be happy with the white. As for the brown interior, I agree that it has far to many shades and colors for that matter. I wanted to go with the saddle brown until I saw it in person. There was dark brown, light brown, the reddish brown and black? What's up with that?

Each his own (her own). I absolutely love the saddle brown interior inside my silver Treg. I find black interiors dull and boring (and hot, as Cadman says).

I'm with you on the boring/basic black interior Mythdoc and not to mention how hot they get after having been parked in the heat for a while and every minuscule dust particle can be seen from an airplane too... I test drove a V6 FSI Sport with a black interior since they didn't have either the Saddle Brown or Cornsilk Beige and I about fell asleep in there before the test drive was over =(. The Sales guy had to keep nudging me every once in a while to wake me up :)

I think that the color name "Saddle Brown" is an appropriate name. It's the color of a saddle, or what I think of, when I think of tanned leather.

I liked it the first time I saw it, but it took my wife a while to come around. Her initial comments on the color where that it looked like "baby poop brown". That's not that far off either!

Overall, the combo really works, I think...

I totally with your analysis and the color and it reminding you of tanned leather. I also like your wife's description. Lastly, I did see a Black/Brown 2012 TDI Exec at a dealer here in Tampa that was getting prepped and they let me take a look at it back in the service area. It was sweet, I have to admit. The black looked really good with the brown interior. It had a very rich appeal to it.

Admittedly, I would NOT pick this as my first choice without seeing it. Brown is just not an interior color that I would pick on my own. But, it does have a very rich appeal to it, when you see it in person. The brown and the black really work together nicely, I think, but others opinions differ, and that's fine.

On VW's site, the statistics suggest that most of the black vehicles are built with the saddle interior.

If you look at other manufactures right now, there appears to be others that are doing a darker brown interior as well. Must be the current trend. Probably won't be worth anything in 10 years! ;)
