Hey guys,
I am hearing water flowing every time when i accelerate and brake. The noise starts somewhere near the front tires and ends near rear tires when accelerate, and runs in opposite direction when i brake.Anyone had the similar problem? Or anyone has an idea where that water is?
Thanks in advance

could be water trapped between the firewall and bulkhead, there are outlet pipes either side in each front wheel arch, you will have to remove the inner skins to get to the pipes to clean them out and unblock them, they get blocked over time if loads of crap gets in there.

Dont know of the sound moving to the back though.

Water sloshing front to back and vice versa is a well known issue and it is not blocked bulkhead drains.

No one knows how the water gets in to the door sills, but here's how to get it out.

Look at the sills below the doors.

On the underside, where they curve back underneath the car, there are three rubber grommets evenly spaced along the length of the sill.

You'll need to be right down on you hands and knees and looking back up to see them or run your hand along the bottom of the sill to locate them.

If the car is on a slope remove the one at the lowest point, you can probably ease it out with your thumbnail, and watch the water flood out.

If on level ground, remove the middle grommet.

There is no need to remove all three grommets by the way.

I did not bother replacing the grommet I removed. The sill has lots of wax in it.

But regardless of that fix, do check your bulkhead drains too. Problems here can be VERY expensive.

Water by itself does not pose much of a risk to body work, so i'd recommend refitting once it is drained. Problems with corrosion start when mud, dirt, sand, leaves in get in there and hold the moisture for a long time against the paint breaking down the protective layers until corrosion sets in.
Electrically however.............

Thank you so much for your help on this. I have read other forums and thought I might have to take my wheels and wheel wells off to gain access to plugs under the front part of my car. I called a dealer close by and he said it would cost $550... I was dumb founded and made it a priority to do it myself. Found your bit about looking at the drains next to my door and whala!!!! all the water is gone and I didnt have to spend $550.

Thank you so much
